Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Inez, KY
Hours: 24 hours per week, with possible on-call duties as needed.
Job Overview:
Homeland Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep tasks and ensure the functionality of an apartment complex in Inez, KY. This role offers a flexible schedule, paid holidays, and vacation benefits (eligibility and grace periods apply).
Responsibilities:
\t- Perform cleaning duties (e.g., dusting, mopping).
\t- Conduct minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, blinds, filling wall gaps, and touch-up painting.
\t- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment (e.g., ventilation, piping, electrical systems).
\t- Check control panels and ensure the functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarms).
\t- Collaborate with coworkers and external professionals during renovations.
\t- Report issues to the Facilities Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\t- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their use.
\t- Preferably some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
\t- Experience using hand and electrical tools with safety protocols.
\t- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and follow instructions.
\t- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\t- High school diploma or equivalent.
\t- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
\t- Reliable transportation.
