Role Overview
A Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of technical projects, ensuring collaboration between cross-functional teams, and driving the delivery of solutions that meet business objectives. This role serves as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable plans and fostering effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. The manager will maintain project timelines, manage risks, and ensure adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring all deliverables are met within agreed-upon timelines and budget.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations.
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure they are meeting their obligations.
- Prepare reports on project progress for senior management.
- Facilitate the resolution of technical issues and escalate concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project deliverables with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/IT or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 5 or more years of Project Management experience, including 3+ years managing large, complex, cross-functional IT projects and 3+ years utilizing a structured project management methodology.
Technical Skills: PMP Certification. Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices within an ITIL framework. Experience with network concepts (WAN, LAN, IP), security principles, open-source software development, web technologies, and agile project management. Strategic and tactical planning on Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in project estimation, planning, tracking, scope control, and risk/issues management status reporting.
- Experience with SQL and other data tools.
- Familiarity with the Horizon toolset.
- Familiarity with Change Management.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $70.00/hr - $80.13/hr
