Our client is looking for a Web Applications Developer for a 10 month opportunity located in Phoenix, AZ. This role is 100% onsite.

responsibilities:
As an Applications Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering reliable, secure, and user-friendly web and mobile applications that support both internal staff and external end-users. In this role, you will develop new software systems, provide technical support across client platforms, troubleshoot code, participate in peer reviews, and perform thorough quality assurance testing.
Projects include public-facing web portals, third-party vendor/partner interfaces, and offline-capable mobile applications designed to drive workflow automation and support the organization's transition toward a streamlined, paperless environment. In addition to maintaining core enterprise systems, you will also be assigned to key initiatives led by the project management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Software & Mobile Development: Design and develop end-to-end web and mobile applications (Native, Hybrid, or PWAs) from business requirements to production in alignment with established technical architectures.
- Offline-First Engineering: Implement robust offline functionality for mobile applications, including local data storage solutions (such as SQLite or Realm) and secure, automatic data synchronization once network connectivity is restored.
- System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Maintain and enhance legacy systems and current software applications by engineering updates, resolving defects, and minimizing system downtime while meeting strict project deadlines.
- Documentation & Project Execution: Prepare, interpret, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, project plans, user guides, and system maintenance strategies in close collaboration with the project management team.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere to strict application security standards and best practices as established by internal security protocols.
- Quality & Collaboration: Maintain high standards of code quality, efficiency, and attention to detail through peer code reviews and unit testing; assist with training and onboarding new team members as needed.
