Job Title: Systems Analyst 3 (GitHub Enterprise / DevSecOps)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to support enterprise-level application and software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and manage GitHub Enterprise environments with a strong focus on governance, security, compliance, and automation.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency, implement DevSecOps practices, and standardize CI/CD processes across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business objectives, processes, and system requirements to identify improvement opportunities
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions
• Gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements
• Evaluate system capabilities, limitations, and integration requirements
• Develop detailed documentation including workflows, specifications, and user requirements

GitHub & DevSecOps Responsibilities

• Administer and manage GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) environments
• Implement governance, security policies, and compliance standards
• Configure and maintain RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML workflows
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the development lifecycle
• Manage audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
• Utilize GitHub Advanced Security features (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)
• Automate processes using scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Git-based version control administration
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise
• Strong expertise in:
  • RBAC, SAML/SSO, and access controls
  • Branch protection and governance strategies
  • GitHub Actions and workflow automation
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of audit logging, compliance, and security best practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Advanced Security tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Knowledge of policy-as-code frameworks
• Experience creating governance documentation and developer guidelines
• Ability to lead technical training or enablement sessions

Work Schedule & Environment

• Standard business hours (Monday-Friday)
• Hybrid work model (combination of onsite and remote work)
• Occasional extended hours, weekends, or holidays may be required based on project needs

Engagement Details

• Contract-based role with a defined project duration
• Possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements
• Work products developed during the engagement will be considered proprietary
