We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading firm, where you will be responsible for managing a variety of construction projects from start to finish. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing projects that range from small renovations to multi-million dollar constructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction management, budgeting, contract management, cost control, negotiation, team leadership, and construction estimating.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
  • Lead and manage the project team to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in construction project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contract management and familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in construction estimating and budgeting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of construction software are a must.
