Description: Our client is currently seeking a Lead Performance Tester

This person is doing performance testing, acting as the single point of contact for technical needs around the testing, and assigning work/leading an offshore resource. we need good screening; they will just talk to me and eric and we will select a candidate. Testing tools are JMeter, postman experience with those required

What You'll Do

Lead the end-to-end performance testing strategy and approach
Define test scenarios focused on key APIs and critical workflows
Evaluate and recommend tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Dynatrace, Grafana)
Oversee execution of load, stress, and baseline testing
Analyze results and identify performance bottlenecks
Provide clear, actionable recommendations for optimization
Coordinate testing efforts with engineering teams
Drive documentation and knowledge transfer post-engagement

What You Bring

7+ years of experience in performance testing
Experience operating in a lead or ownership role
Strong background in API and backend performance testing
Hands-on experience with tools like JMeter, k6, or similar
Experience working with .NET and SQL Server environments preferred
Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
