Title: Senior PeopleSoft Developer

Job Description:
Participate in development activities for a large enterprise PeopleSoft HCM ERP system, including but not limited to the areas of Base Benefits and Benefit Administration. Apply best practices and develop defect-free enhancements for the system. Collaborate with core development team members, subject matter experts, and project teams as necessary. Work closely with business and technical counterparts to deliver enhancements that are compliant with industry and application best practices.
Prepare and obtain approvals for system and programming documentation. Initiate and oversee changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Set technical requirements for complex software specifications. Apply advanced software concepts to plan, design, develop, modify, debug, deploy, and evaluate highly complex software for functional areas. Analyze existing highly complex software and devise algorithms for new systems. Perform complex data analysis and testing/debugging, working directly with management. Design and apply complex data sources and enforce advanced programming security practices.
Provide advanced production support services as required, including participation in support rotations and on-call support. Tasks include reviewing processes, analyzing and correcting system data, working directly with users to resolve issues, designing new solutions for defects, identifying recurring issues, triaging and escalating problems as appropriate.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools, languages, and integration technologies including BI Publisher, Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL. Write clear and concise technical documentation. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of how system changes affect users and dependent systems. Provide expertise in data integration and data service specification.
Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience:
At least 7+ years of PeopleSoft HCM 9.x experience
Extensive experience on at least two large-scale implementations with large user populations and multiple locations
Knowledge / Skills:
Advanced experience designing and developing solutions for PeopleSoft HCM Benefits modules with deep understanding of the HCM data model
Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web tools to enhance Fluid UI accessibility and navigation
Develop and maintain Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Fluid pages, Integration Broker services, and custom reports
Strong Application Engine and SQL skills
Hands-on experience with Fluid technology, Tiles, Related Content, Event Mapping, and Page/Field Configurator
Ability to translate functional needs into system solutions
Experience developing conversion and implementation plans
Proven experience authoring technical design documents and test plans
Strong collaboration, analytical, leadership, and project management skills
Experience with configuration strategy, object migration tools (STAT/PHIRE), and deployment procedures
