Summary

Description
Maintain, support, and troubleshoot the company's on premises and cloud server environments, focusing on the needs of the Business Applications Team. Manage commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, including Windows, SQL, and a WebSphere application Administer and ensure the health of commercial software platforms-including version management, configuration alignment, patching, and routine upkeep. Validate and coordinate infrastructure requirements for applications, ensuring they run on the correct server types, OS versions, and resource configurations. Oversee application/platform maintenance to ensure software is up to date, healthy, secure, and meeting business needs. Support light to moderate server maintenance as needed (not deep system engineering). Partner with Business, IT Security, Software Development, Platform Engineering, and other Infrastructure teams to deliver secure and reliable business solutions. Participate in research and development of new tools, architectures, technologies, and processes. Provide technical leadership and guidance to teammates, contributing to an expanding team structure. Assist in building out the team to prevent single threaded dependencies. Able to work with teams responsible for VMware and Citrix areas, seeking someone with broad experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of IT systems engineering and/or cloud engineering experience. Experience with: o Microsoft Azure and Microsoft M365 o Server and cloud virtualization technologies o Public, private, and hybrid cloud environments o Current/recent Windows Server and Windows workstation operating systems Experience with project leadership, planning, or coordination. Ability to work in environments supporting both platforms and applications. ________________________________________ Preferred Experience ITIL or similar methodologies. Hands on experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. Understanding of enterprise hardware, systems, and architecture design. Experience with: o VM engineering (ideal but not required) o Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) o Building/managing CI/CD pipelines o Enterprise server, network, and cloud ecosystems Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills. Excellent planning, organizational, and project management capabilities. Clear, professional verbal and written communication. ________________________________________ Abilities Analyze business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Work independently and as a collaborative team member. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in work. Train others on systems and tools and participate in knowledge sharing. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
