The Digital Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for running digital printing equipment to manufacture printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines
- Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments
- Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure the correct print file, substrate, inks/toners, coatings, and tooling are used
- Review and prepare digital print files, including copy, color settings, and layout, before starting the job
- Complete all required quality checks related to product specifications, including visual and functional checks and all press-side quality checks
- Operate the digital press to produce product to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency
- Maintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink/toner adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks
- Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard
- Complete press make-readies in an efficient manner
- Complete all required equipment maintenance duties
- Clean print components, ink/toner systems, and press parts as required, and lubricate equipment as needed
- Enter all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Digital press experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail required
- Ability to work from job tickets, product specifications, and quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including 2nd or 3rd shift if required
