IT Asset Management Team Lead
Primary Location: Chicago, IL
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a IT Asset Management Team Lead for our premier client Chicago, IL.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology,
- Experience managing enterprise asset inventories exceeding 5,000 assets and supporting multiple locations, departments, or business units
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- 7 years working in any of the following roles in an enterprise environment: IT Asset Management, Desktop, Network, Service Desk, Server, or Telecommunications support
- 3years of Asset Management or CMDB experience
- 2 years of leading one of the following teams in an enterprise environment: IT Asset Management, Desktop, or Service Desk
- ITIL Foundation Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Management Information Systems or other computer related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), Configuration Management (CMDB), and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including asset lifecycle management, configuration management, software licensing, compliance
- Demonstrated ability to develop, document, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, standards, workflows, and operational processes using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, ITIL Continual Service Improvement (CSI), or similar frameworks.
- IAITAM: Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) Certification

- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information, build collaborative relationships, and work effectively with staff, leadership, vendors, auditors, and business stakeholders at all organizational levels.
