About the Role
Our client, a global organization operating across the agriculture, food, and nutrition industries, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a Generative AI discovery and prototyping team. In this role, you will help deliver a major platform upgrade connecting enterprise data pipelines, large language models (LLMs), and rapidly developed applications.
This is a true full-stack engineering position with responsibility across back-end services and user-facing applications. You will develop scalable solutions using C# on the back end and React with TypeScript on the front end, with a particular focus on securely ingesting, validating, processing, and returning LLM outputs within a complex enterprise technology environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong software engineering foundation and hands-on experience developing applications powered by generative AI. You should be comfortable working across secure data environments, collaborating within multiple development and staging environments, and adapting quickly as platform and prototyping requirements evolve.
Job Description
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack application features using C# for back-end services and React with TypeScript for user-facing interfaces.
  • Connect enterprise data sources and LLMs to application prototypes and build reliable workflows for validating, parsing, and handling structured LLM outputs.
  • Apply modern AI integration concepts, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and skills-based software integrations.
  • Develop and deploy applications within Microsoft Azure using Azure DevOps and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to application logging, monitoring, container workflows, and foundational Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Collaborate with platform and security teams to troubleshoot applications operating within secure enterprise data environments, including firewalls and access-control boundaries.
  • Support platform modernization efforts and help migrate legacy workflows toward twelve-factor, cloud-native application architectures.
  • Troubleshoot complex application and system issues across the technology stack with minimal daily supervision.
  • Take ownership of features from initial discovery and prototyping through production-ready implementation.
  • Adapt development approaches as technical requirements and platform needs evolve.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience within an enterprise or fast-paced product environment.
  • Advanced experience designing and developing scalable back-end services using C#.
  • Strong experience building responsive, interactive front-end applications using React and TypeScript within the Node.js ecosystem.
  • Hands-on production experience integrating Generative AI and LLMs into software applications, workflows, or data-processing pipelines.
  • Experience should include application-side LLM integration beyond prompt design or prompt engineering.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of twelve-factor application principles, container-based workflows, and standard application monitoring and logging practices.
  • Experience working across multi-environment architectures, such as Development, QA, Staging, and Production.
  • Experience navigating enterprise data governance, security, access-control, and firewall requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across front-end, back-end, cloud, and integration layers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage technical blockers, and adapt quickly as prototyping requirements change.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within multi-cloud environments, including exposure to AWS alongside Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with AWS EKS or similar container orchestration environments.
  • Experience with animal nutrition, dietary software, formulation systems, or other complex data-intensive platforms.
  • Hands-on experience modernizing legacy application architectures or supporting large-scale platform migrations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI security and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and access-control practices related to enterprise AI applications.
  • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or skills-based AI/software integrations.
