Summary

Job Description

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Consultant, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Consultant, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Developing intelligent chatbots using artificial intelligence and machine learning, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, model training, and deployment; Designing, implementing, and managing digital human interactions using UneeQ; Building conversational AI using RASA by designing, developing, and deploying NLP models to understand and process human language; Performing data analysis, model development, and automation to optimize workflows and expedite project timelines using Python; Developing enterprise applications using Java EE, including servlets, JSP, EJB, and web services; Designing and implementing microservices architecture using Java, Docker, and Kubernetes; Building, training, and deploying machine learning models to improve model accuracy and reduce time-to-market using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn; Performing sequence prediction and natural language processing using deep learning architectures including Recurrent Neural Networks and Transformers; Creating conversational interfaces using Voiceflow to design, prototype, and build voice and chat applications; Building websites, mobile apps, and forms using Adobe Experience Manager; Cleaning and preparing data for analysis using Min-Max scaling for normalization, random sampling, and train-test split; Deriving features from raw data to enhance model performance using feature engineering; Evaluating model performance using regression metrics including Mean Absolute Error, Mean Squared Error, and Root Mean Squared Error; Evaluating model performance using classification metrics including Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1 Score, and Confusion Matrix; Integrating large language models and generative AI platforms using technologies including ChatGPT and AWS Foundational Models; and Enhancing content relevance and quality using the Retrieval-Augmented Generation framework.
