Position Description:JTEC Consulting is seeking data science and data analytics professionals to work in support of ongoing hiring needs for an Intelligence Community organization in the Northern Virginia area. Positions are supporting varied task order activities including ETL, data engineering, data strategy and architecture, data analytics, and data-focused software engineering for DevOps environments. Qualified candidates will have experience supporting an IC customer in a data analytics environment using open-source tools, cloud computing, machine learning and data visualization. Current security clearance credentials are required for consideration.

General duties and responsibilities vary by role and may include: - Work as part of a blended team of government and contractor personnel including data scientists, data engineers, and analysts
- Support a range of activities and hands-on support for structured and unstructured data
- Support advanced data problems and data modeling
- Support data interpretation and results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques including simple data aggregation and statistical analysis up to an including complex data mining
- Support data-centric solutions through database support, big data analysis, and implementation of data models
- Apply industry and technical knowledge to support advanced and complex projects, as requested
General education and qualification guidelines include: - U.S. citizenship
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Local to Wash DC Metro area and available to support on-site work 5 days/week (Northern Virginia locations)
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, operational research, or related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting a related IC data analytics environment
- Experience using open-source tools, cloud computing, machine learning and data visualization
- Hands-on coding experience (varies by task) including Apache Hadoop, and Python
- Experience in a data analytics environment, and the use of open-source tools, cloud computing, machine learning and data visualization
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to work in a dynamic team environment.

JTEC offers competitive compensation and benefits to all employees. Salary ranges are advertised based on good faith estimates at the time of posting and indicating pay that JTEC anticipates for successful applicants. The estimated salary range displayed in this posting is dependent upon position requirements, individual qualifications, education, experience, location, and other job related factors. Our recruiting team will review candidates' related experience and desired salary targets during the evaluation process. All qualified candidates will be considered.
Pay Range: $160,000 - $220,000 per year
