Job Overview:
Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 10 12 years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices development.
- Extensive experience with Java (8+).
- Extensive experience with J2EE.
- Extensive experience with JUnit.
- Extensive experience with REST & SOAP Web Services.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka.
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Jira.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, and Harness.
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading technical design and delivery initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Lead end-to-end engineering efforts from requirements analysis through deployment.
- Develop new microservices and enhance existing enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern architectural patterns.
Nice to Have:
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
- Exposure to React.js.
- Experience with modern architecture and engineering best practices.
