About the RoleWe're looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Software Engineer to support the Portfolio Management Platform (PMP) within the Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT) organization. In this role, you'll contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions that power portfolio management capabilities across advisory platforms.
This position is ideal for engineers who take ownership, lead by example, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You should have a strong foundation in software engineering principles, an understanding of compliance requirements, and a passion for building high-quality solutions.
We actively leverage AI-assisted development tools-including Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot-so openness to using AI to boost productivity is essential.
ResponsibilitiesAs a contingent resource, you will:
- Contribute to moderately complex engineering initiatives within the Portfolio Management Platform.
- Participate in planning, design discussions, and execution of software engineering deliverables.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges involving multiple variables.
- Help resolve issues while applying a solid understanding of engineering best practices, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with client and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead through action-writing high-quality code, reviewing peer work, and promoting engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications- Proficiency with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot for building JSON REST APIs
- Experience with ReactJS and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka
- Strong full-stack development background
- Experience writing unit tests (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Jest)
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright)
- Understanding of cloud technologies
- Experience with GitHub hooks and workflow automation
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot
- Strong delivery mindset with the ability to take initiative and contribute directly to implementation
- Genuine passion for technology-including projects or interests outside of work
