Role Overview
Client is seeking a skilled Salesforce CPQ Developer to join their technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions to support complex pricing, quoting, and billing processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop customizations using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Configure product bundles, pricing rules, discounting logic, and approval workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other enterprise systems (ERP, billing, CRM).
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Document technical designs, configuration decisions, and deployment processes.
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and optimization of CPQ functionality.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years in Salesforce CPQ.
- Strong expertise in CPQ configuration (bundles, rules, pricing, discounting, approvals).
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and governor limits.
- Hands-on experience with deployment tools (Change Sets, Gearset, Copado, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team environments.
