Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager - Senior Network Engineer to join our team on a Contract to permanent position in Davenport, Iowa. In this role, you will lead the deployment and implementation of network, server, and Microsoft-related projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. You will also play a pivotal role in security operations, contributing technical expertise to incident response activities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the deployment and configuration of network, server, and Microsoft-related projects, ensuring all deliverables meet specifications.
Provide technical leadership in physical networking, Windows and Linux server environments, and the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows PCs, MacOS, printers, firewalls, switches, and other infrastructure components.
Collaborate with security teams to offer technical expertise during incident response activities.
Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Optimize server and network performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and implement best practices across systems.
Conduct system upgrades and migrations to maintain up-to-date infrastructure.
Document processes and provide training to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and project management.
Advanced knowledge of server administration, including Linux and Windows environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across diverse systems.
Proven experience in infrastructure deployment and configuration.
Familiarity with firewall technologies, including Fortinet firewalls.
Effective communication skills to bridge technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments, particularly during incident response activities.
