Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems.

Focal Plane Operations at Raytheon Vision Systems is seeking a Product Engineer with an understanding of semiconductor wafer or focal plane processing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and experience in project and cost account management. The selected candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team to support the planning, execution, and financial management of various product lines. This role emphasizes collaboration, financial oversight, and project coordination.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs) and Program Managers to ensure alignment between project schedules, budgets, and overall program objectives
  • Track and report on cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure project success with monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) and quarterly Estimate At Complete (EAC) cycles of learning
  • Assist in risk and opportunity management, ensuring actions are documented and mitigated appropriately.
  • Prepare cost account data, financial reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Aid in project planning, including resource allocation, milestone tracking, and budget adherence.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Engineering, Product Management, Project Planning and/or Cost Account.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Knowledge of wafer level processing and/or cleanroom environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning and non-conforming material control.
  • Experience in proposal preparation and bid management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project application.
  • PMP Certification.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
