Telecommunications Engineer - III

This is a field-based opportunity supporting in-building broadband network deployments across residential and commercial environments. You'll be working with a company focused on delivering high-quality connectivity solutions using coax, Cat6a, and fiber technologies. This is a contract position ideal for someone with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in network installation, cabling, and field engineering, with the majority of work performed onsite and minimal work-from-home.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience
5-7 years of hands-on experience with in-building network design and installation
Experience installing and supporting broadband data transmission equipment
Strong experience with coax, twisted pair copper, Cat6a, and/or fiber optic cabling
Experience with network switching equipment and complex network environments
Ability to evaluate multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and commercial buildings for network compatibility
Experience coordinating and supporting large-scale broadband build projects
Ability to produce technical as-built documentation
Experience testing and troubleshooting coax and Ethernet cabling
Knowledge of CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals)
Understanding of general worksite hazard identification and safety practices
Hands-on experience working on ladders (step, extension, folding)
Experience drilling in residential and commercial structures
Strong customer-facing experience and communication skills
Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience using Google Suite and mobile/field-based applications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience
Experience working on rooftops (flat and/or pitched)
Experience supporting field engineering or sales teams in an operational capacity
