Looking for a hands-on Essbase Developer with strong technical expertise in Oracle Essbase and related EPM tools. This role requires practical experience in designing, building, and optimizing Essbase cubes, scripting automation, and integrating data from multiple sources. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who can work independently and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver robust financial reporting and planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
8+ years of hands-on experience in Essbase development and administration.
Strong knowledge of Essbase architecture, cube design, and optimization.
Design and develop **Essbase cubes (ASO & BSO)** based on business needs
Create and maintain **calculation scripts, load rules, and MaxL scripts**
Automate processes and manage **data loads from multiple systems (ERP, data warehouse, etc.)**
Monitor and improve **cube performance and efficiency**
Set up and manage **security and user access**
Troubleshoot issues related to **data, calculations, and performance**
Work closely with **finance and IT teams** to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Document processes and support knowledge transfer
