Job Summary: 

A Java Developer with MuleSoft experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions. This role emphasizes strong Java development skills combined with the use of Mule 4 for building scalable integrations and data processing workflows. The ideal candidate has a solid background in Java application development, along with hands-on experience in MuleSoft, DataWeave, and API-driven integrations.

This role involves working with structured data formats (CSV, XML, JSON), building reusable Java components, and supporting communication between internal and external systems. The candidate will collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based integration solutions leveraging Mule 4.
• Design and implement MuleSoft applications and flows for system integrations.
• Build reusable Java components, utilities, and extensions to support integration logic.
• Perform data transformation using DataWeave and Java-based processing.
• Generate and process structured files including CSV, XML, JSON, and flat files.
• Integrate with APIs, databases, SFTP servers, and enterprise systems using MuleSoft and Java.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both Java code and Mule integration flows.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and integration reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and developers across distributed teams.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to Java and integration best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and data mappings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java (core Java, collections, exception handling, etc.).
• Experience with MuleSoft Mule 4 and integration design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with DataWeave for data transformation.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework / Spring Boot is a plus.
• Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and file-based integrations.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with tools such as Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems.
• Experience with healthcare, claims, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer – Mule 4).
• Experience with API-led connectivity architecture.
• Experience with message queues or event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with PYTHON.
• Experience with business DROOLS engine.
