Summary

Position: Database Performance Engineer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 12 Months
  • DB2 database development and DBA experience (10+ years)
  • SQL performance tuning experience on DB2 (8+ years)
  • Understanding, developing and refactoring stored procedures on DB2 (8+ years)
  • Nice to have: Scala development to re-write existing Stored Procedures in Scala (4+ years) 
  • DB2 database expertise and DB2 development experience not a DB2 maintenance person  (8+ years)
  • Ability to think through issues like a DBA
  • Deep experience in SQL performance tuning experience on DB2 (6+ years)
  • Understanding, developing and refactoring stored procedures on DB2 to DB2 SQL (6+ years)
  • Identifying stored procedures that can be extracted and programmed in Scala or a similar programming language (4+ years)
  • Exposure and hands-on understanding of Snowflake warehouses and Snowflake SQL tuning (2+ years)
  • Scala development to re-write existing Stored Procedures in Scala (4+ years)
