About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned functional SAP PLM/CR/PPM Consultant to lead the design and delivery of robust solutions for our clients in the Process Industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise and will be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into scalable, efficient SAP configurations and designs. You will act as the key advisor and solution bridge between client stakeholders in Engineering, R&D, and IT, ensuring their SAP landscape drives innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements from client stakeholders in Engineering, R&D, and EH&S domains.
Architect, design, and deliver end-to-end functional solutions within the SAP PLM suite (PLM, CR, PPM, DMS, RD) for clients, ensuring alignment with Process Industry best practices.
Serve as the primary functional expert and solution owner for Engineering Records (ER), Specifications (EH&S), WWI Reports, and Portfolio Management (PPM).
Configure and prototype solutions to meet client needs, guiding development teams on technical specifications for enhancements, reports, and integrations.
Manage the solution delivery lifecycle from concept through testing, deployment, and support.
Provide expert-level consultation, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
Collaborate with other SAP module architects (MM, PP, QM) to ensure seamless cross-functional process integration.
Create and maintain key solution documentation, including functional design specs, process flows, and test scenarios.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Basic functional Change Record (CR) knowledge.
Deep functional Portfolio Management (PPM) knowledge.
Intermediate Document Management System (DMS) knowledge.
Basic Recipe Development (RD) and Basic Material Master (MM) knowledge.
Preferred Skills:
Direct experience in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum project methodology environment.
Practical knowledge of structured testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT) and associated tools.
SAP S/4HANA experience in the context of PLM/Innovation Management.
Relevant SAP certifications.
