Summary

Job Description
The Specialist will work closely with the Operations Senior Manager and play a key role in day-to-day execution as well as continuous improvement of compliance systems and processes.

 

Transparency & Reporting (30% of time)

·        Lead, in coordination with the Operations Senior Manager, the operational execution of U.S. federal and state healthcare transparency reporting (e.g., Open Payments/Sunshine Act) as well as applicable state or global disclosure requirements.

·        Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to collect, validate, and reconcile HCP transfer-of-value data.

·        Support the preparation and submission of transparency reports, managing inquiries and disputes, and maintain required documentation and audit-ready data trails.

·        Monitor evolving federal, state, and global transparency requirements and supports updates to internal processes, controls, and training to maintain ongoing compliance.

·        Drive and support process improvement strategies to enhance data collection, data quality, and overall reporting efficiency.

 

Compliance Monitoring & Operations (15%)

·        Support compliance monitoring activities related to HCP engagements, including speaker programs, consulting arrangements, advisory boards, and other interactions.

·        Assist with review of payments, contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with internal policies and external requirements.

·        Track and follow up on corrective actions, trends, and recurring issues identified through monitoring.

 

HCP Engagement Processes, Systems & Tools (30%)

·        Partner with Commercial, Medical, Finance, and IT on the enhancement and ongoing use of HCP engagement and payment systems.

·        Serve as a compliance operations point of contact for system workflows, data quality issues, and user questions.

·        Support testing, validation, and documentation when systems or vendors change.

·        Support the Annual Needs Assessment function and development of business specific documents. Monitor all U.S. HCP engagement activities throughout the year to ensure alignment with defined business needs and compliance requirements.

 

Due Diligence (FMV) (15%)

·        Conduct comprehensive Due Diligence on all HCPs (and related entities) and HCOs considered for consulting or clinical engagements, providing the business with a consolidated overview of all Galderma historical and current interactions, along with clearly documented Due Diligence findings.

·        Maintain and execute Due Diligence checks in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies, ensuring ongoing compliance and up to date risk assessment practices.

·        Maintain repository of Due Diligence reports. 

·        Support FMV processes for HCP engagements, including application of FMV methodologies, rate cards, and documentation standards.

·        Partner with the business to ensure engagements are structured and documented consistently with FMV principles.

·        Coordinate with vendors or internal teams supporting FMV analyses, as applicable.

 

Cross-Functional Partnership & Program Support (10%)

·        Work closely with the Operations Senior Manager on planning, prioritization, and execution of compliance operations initiatives.

·        Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, job aids, and training materials related to compliance operations.

·        Support audits, inspections, and internal requests related to transparency and HCP engagement activities.

 

Skills & Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree required; background in compliance, healthcare, finance, operations, or a related field preferred.

·        2–5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, transparency reporting, compliance operations, or a related operational role.

·        Familiarity with U.S. Sunshine Act / Open Payments and HCP engagement processes strongly preferred.

·        Experience working with compliance or payment systems, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

·        Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.

·        Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to balance compliance requirements and business needs.

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills.
