Job Description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating web and mobile applications, developing automated test scripts, executing functional and regression testing, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute exploratory, functional, integration, regression, and automated test cases.
• Perform testing for web and mobile applications.
• Create and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Python or similar automation frameworks.
• Validate backend data using SQL/MySQL queries and ensure data accuracy.
• Work independently on assigned testing activities and deliver within project timelines.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare test data, execute test cases, and document test results.
• Support production deployments by performing post-release validation and monitoring.
• Maintain testing documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing through Confluence.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Hands-on experience with web application and client-server testing.
• Experience in test automation using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong SQL/MySQL skills for backend data validation.
• Experience with Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and Interface Testing.
• Knowledge of Black-box and White-box testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr or TestLink.
• Familiarity with open-source automation frameworks.
• Experience setting up and maintaining QA environments and test data.
• Programming knowledge in one or more of the following: Java, Python, C#, C++, Visual Basic, or XML.
