Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Load Balancing Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise load balancing infrastructure across data center and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler (ADC), DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) technologies. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and security of critical applications and network services.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Engineering

• Design, implement, and maintain load balancing solutions for enterprise applications across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop highly available and scalable network architectures utilizing F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler, Avi Networks, or similar ADC platforms.
• Design and engineer DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.
• Design and implement DNS-based Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) solutions.
• Design and implement local application load balancing solutions.
• Support infrastructure modernization, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives.

Operations & Administration

• Manage and maintain daily operations of the load balancing environment.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize F5 BIG-IP and Citrix NetScaler platforms.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address capacity, availability, and performance issues.
• Implement, upgrade, and maintain network hardware and software components.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) processes and backup solutions.

Network Engineering & Security

• Analyze network traffic, data packets, TCP/IP flows, and application delivery paths.
• Ensure network interoperability and compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Participate in security compliance initiatives and risk mitigation efforts.
• Collaborate with networking, security, cloud, and engineering teams to support enterprise infrastructure requirements.
• Provide technical guidance for architecture reviews, new technology evaluations, and infrastructure enhancements.

Project & Support Responsibilities

• Support large-scale infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Assist with troubleshooting complex ADC, DNS, and network-related issues.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, products, and services to improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements based on performance and business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing and supporting enterprise load balancing environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM preferred)
• Citrix NetScaler (ADC)
• DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies
• Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
• Strong knowledge of:
• TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS
• Routing and switching concepts
• WAN/LAN networking
• Firewalls and network security
• OSI Model and application delivery architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Avi Networks, Kemp LoadMaster, or similar ADC solutions.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Relevant certifications such as:
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
• F5 Certified Administrator
• Citrix ADC Certification
• CCNP or equivalent networking certification
