Location: McLean, Virginia (On-site)
Role Overview
This role involves the design and development of applications and web services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Python, Spring-Boot, and SQL development. This position requires a developer with a demeanor to think holistically to create reliable, flexible, and well-performing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the design and development of applications and web services using Python and JAVA.
- Strong and extensive knowledge of Python, Spring-Boot, and SQL development.
- 5+ years of presentation frameworks experience, such as Angular or NodeJS similar frameworks, and jQuery.
- 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL Databases, SQL Server query, and performance tuning.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Micro-services architecture and Docker Containers Platforms using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of integration experience using Web Services/REST.
- 3+ years of experience in code delivery pipelines and building deployment tools using ANT, Unix Shell script, Maven, Gradle, ANSIBLE, and Jenkins.
- Minimum of 2 years of test automation experience leveraging Cucumber and/or Cypress.
- Proven ability to use Kanban/Agile delivery practices. Knowledge or experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- AWS Cloud Platform experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python frameworks like DJango or FastAPI.
- Experience with Ping, LDAP, or Hashicorp Integration.
- Experience with Control-M Batch Job platforms.
