Location & Work Arrangement

City, State: South Chesterfield, VA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Primarily onsite with flexibility for 2 days remote per week).
Interview Mode: Either In-person or Webcam Interview.
Shift: Monday Friday, EST.

Key Responsibilities

AI Governance & Policy Development

Develop and coordinate AI-related updates to IT policies, including data privacy, ethical use, and cybersecurity.
Track emerging AI regulations and offer strategic recommendations for institutional process improvements.
Interpret complex AI compliance requirements and apply them to both academic and administrative contexts.

Regulatory Compliance & Audit

Monitor and enforce strict compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and NIST/ISO security standards.
Coordinate documentation and technical evidence for internal/external audits and accreditation-related technology reviews.
Use AI-driven tools to monitor and report on security awareness program compliance for faculty and staff.

Academic System Integration

Align IT governance frameworks with higher education systems, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and ERPs.
Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and technical teams to foster a culture of compliant technology use.
