Technical Program Manager - Hybrid

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a Hybrid position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Menlo Park, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

The main function of this role is to provide successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance/accounting background focused on analysis and decision support, coupled with robust program management skills to handle fluid, shifting timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time and budget
• Oversee program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, and complex issue resolution
• Manage a group of internal and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and systems enhancements
• Provide oversight of project scope definition and management, requirements gathering, time estimating, and schedule development
• Handle project budget management, status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and customer interaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering) or finance/corporate development
• Finance/accounting background focused on analysis and decision support (not operations)
• Strong project/program management skills
• Ability to handle projects with fluid, shifting timelines
• Proven people management and team building skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in a changing environment and manage competing priorities
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
• Experience with software development lifecycle

Desired skills:

• MBA and PMP/PMI certification
• AI tooling proficiency
• Proficiency with G Suite and virtual data rooms
• Proactiveness with a strong sense of urgency

Pay range: up to $141.19 per hour
