Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join the Corporate Tax practice team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing corporate tax compliance, income tax planning, ASC 740 tax accounting projects, and client engagements from start to finish. This role requires strong technical tax expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships within a fast-paced public accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead client tax engagements including planning, execution, direction, and completion of corporate tax projects
• Handle business income tax planning, corporate tax compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting engagements
• Review corporate tax returns prepared by staff and provide recommendations for accuracy and tax-saving opportunities
• Conduct primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
• Supervise, mentor, and train senior associates, associates, and interns
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and engagement deliverables
• Research and consult on federal, state, local, and international tax matters
• Utilize tax software tools for tax return preparation and tax provision processes
• Respond to IRS, state, and other tax authority inquiries
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and work closely with client management teams
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing and prospective clients
• Collaborate with internal tax specialists and leadership teams including WNTO
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4–7+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax consulting
• Active CPA or JD/Active Law License required
• Strong experience in corporate income tax and ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate tax laws/regulations
• Experience with state & local taxes, international taxation, and transfer pricing
• Excellent analytical, communication, client management, and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision
• Strong teamwork and leadership experience
