We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions and support data-driven decision-making.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Design & develop large-scale data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala
✔️ Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions
✔️ Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability & reliability
✔️ Collaborate with business & technical teams for data solutions
✔️ Implement automated testing & ensure data quality
✔️ Troubleshoot production data pipelines
✔️ Support data scientists & analytics teams
🔹 Must-Have Skills
🔸 Big Data: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Trino
🔸 Strong SQL: Joins, Window Functions, Complex Queries
🔸 Programming: Python / Scala / Java
🔸 Cloud: AWS (S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda, Athena)
🔸 Spark Internals & Performance Tuning
🔸 Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
🔸 AI Tools: ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude (Prompt Engineering & AI workflows)
🔹 Nice to Have
➕ Experience with ETL pipelines & CI/CD
➕ AWS Certifications
➕ Financial Services domain experience
🎯 Ideal Candidate:
✔️ 5+ years of experience (Bachelor’s) or higher
✔️ Strong problem-solving & debugging skills
✔️ Experience handling large-scale (PB-level) data
