About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Python Developer with strong FastAPI expertise and 6–8+ years of experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable business process automation and data-driven solutions. This role involves working with modern AI technologies, cloud-native architectures, and containerized applications to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performance systems.

The candidate should be passionate about backend engineering, AI/ML integrations, and building enterprise-grade applications within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
• Develop AI-powered and data-driven solutions using technologies such as RAG, LLM integrations, and Machine Learning Control Plane (MCP).
• Work with AI/ML frameworks and libraries to integrate intelligent automation capabilities into backend systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and system enhancements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for complex software components and APIs.
• Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and best development practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for innovation and automation.

Required Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of experience as a Python Developer or Backend Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django frameworks.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Python libraries such as:
  • Pandas
  • NumPy
  • Scikit-learn
  • PyTorch / TensorFlow
  • LangChain
  • LlamaIndex
• Exposure to SQL/PL-SQL, RDBMS, and database query optimization.
• Experience working with AI/ML concepts including:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Machine Learning Control Plane (MCP)
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with product lifecycle management including development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ability to write reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services domains.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Creative mindset with the ability to identify innovative technical solutions.
