Senior AI / ML Deployment Engineer

Preference will be given to candidates local to Colorado.
Seeking an Expert level AI / ML Deployment Engineer to support the deployment, scaling, and operation of production AI/ML systems used by external customers. This role sits within a growing AI organization focused on delivering real, production-ready AI solutions-not research, experimentation, or academic modeling.
If your background is primarily theoretical ML, data science, or notebook-only work, this role is not a fit.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll support AI-driven capabilities embedded within a customer-facing SaaS platform used in the construction and manufacturing industry. These systems must be secure, scalable, reliable, and performant in live production environments.
This role owns end-to-end deployment and system architecture, partnering closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Non-Negotiable)

Applicants must meet all of the following:

• 5+ years deploying AI/ML systems into production environments (SaaS preferred)
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing dev, staging, and production environments
• Strong background in microservices, REST APIs, and serverless architectures
• Proven experience with infrastructure and deployment automation, including:
  • Terraform
  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Containers (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)
• Experience deploying and supporting external, customer-facing applications
• Ability to design systems for scaling, performance, availability, and security
• Comfortable owning deployments end to end (not relying solely on a separate DevOps team)

Cloud experience:

• Azure experience strongly preferred
• AWS experience acceptable only if you have deep, hands-on deployment ownership

• Starting salary: $150,000+ annually

• Onsite interview required in Colorado (candidate must travel)
