Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting a large-scale banking application environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React/Angular, and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js and/or Angular.
• Develop and integrate microservices-based applications.
• Design, implement, and consume REST APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Develop cloud-native applications and deploy solutions using AWS services.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and ECS/EKS.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and develop efficient SQL queries.
• Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API integrations.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated application deployments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development with strong Java experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices.
• Strong frontend development experience with React.js or Angular.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, or similar services.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar DevOps tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud deployment practices.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking/financial services domain.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure/configuration tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
