Innovar Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from initial planning through final completion.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven project leader who can successfully manage field execution, financial performance, project teams, customer relationships, and subcontractor coordination. The position offers significant bonus potential based on project performance.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a collaborative team player, and a proactive problem-solver who can keep multiple priorities moving in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex industrial mechanical construction projects from startup through closeout.

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement plans, and resource requirements.

  • Coordinate field leadership, labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Monitor project costs, productivity, committed expenses, change orders, and overall financial performance.

  • Lead and support project team members, including project engineers, coordinators, and assistant project managers.

  • Partner with field leadership to resolve construction challenges and maintain project schedules.

  • Identify financial, operational, safety, and scheduling risks and implement corrective actions.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, internal leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

  • Ensure completed work complies with contracts, drawings, specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

  • Oversee subcontractor performance and contract compliance.

  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, financial results, and upcoming milestones.

  • Support project turnover, final documentation, punch-list completion, and closeout.

  • Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of project management experience within industrial construction.

  • Strong mechanical construction experience.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects from planning through closeout.

  • Experience overseeing project budgets, cost forecasting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractors, and field resources.

  • Proven ability to lead project teams and collaborate effectively with field operations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making abilities.

  • Team-oriented leadership style with a high level of accountability.

  • Ability to travel based on project requirements.

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience managing large-scale industrial or mission-critical construction projects.

  • Familiarity with construction scheduling, job-costing, estimating, and accounting systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management tools.

  • OSHA or equivalent construction safety training.

Work Environment

This role includes a combination of office and active construction-site responsibilities. Candidates must be comfortable working around industrial equipment, construction activity, changing weather conditions, elevated noise levels, and other typical field environments.
