Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in data warehousing, ETL development, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate will design and develop complex ETL pipelines, manage large-scale data integrations, and build Tableau dashboards for enterprise reporting needs.

This role requires strong experience working with Greenplum, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, and large data environments while supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes supporting enterprise MI/BI data solutions

• Build and maintain advanced ETL pipelines and automation scripts

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and BI visualizations

• Perform data mapping and source-to-target analysis across multiple systems

• Design and optimize SQL queries for data warehouse environments

• Load and integrate data into Greenplum MPP databases

• Implement data distribution, partitioning, and compression strategies

• Design and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data processing

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and Engineering teams

• Maintain version control using Git / Bitbucket

• Develop and maintain technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance policies

• Mentor junior ETL developers and provide technical guidance

• Participate in design reviews, Agile meetings, and project planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 10+ years of ETL development experience

• Strong experience working with large enterprise data warehouse systems

• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

• Must be able to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week)

• Performance tuning for high-volume data processing

Desired / Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Federal Government projects

• Knowledge of SSA systems or large federal agencies

• Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies

• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Knowledge of FISMA compliance and ATO frameworks

• Tableau certifications such as:

  • Tableau Desktop Specialist

  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst

• Informatica AXON or Ab Initio certification
