Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Wilmington, DE or Charlotte, NC. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a dynamic team focused on developing a transformational, next-generation Contact Center Solution. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, mission-critical, and scalable solutions using best-in-class cloud technology. The position involves full-stack development with a focus on UI development in React and building microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
Responsibilities: - Execute on complex technology cloud initiatives with broad impact to external and internal customers
- Contribute to developing cloud-native microservices and modern event-driven solutions
- Automate the provisioning of Azure/Google Cloud Platform and hybrid Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as a Code
- Adopt and champion standards and best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions
- Collaborate and consult with senior engineering managers, leads, and architects to resolve technical issues
- Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust cloud-centric solutions
- Work closely with the Product Team and vendors to develop and deploy cloud services
Requirements: - 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with full-stack Java, Spring Boot, and React
- 2+ years working with a Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with Kafka and microservices architecture
- Experience with databases, particularly MongoDB
- Experience with Node.js and Python
- 1+ years of experience with GenAI
Desired skills: - Experience with Apigee
- 4+ years of Contact Center industry experience
- Experience with Deep Domain Driven Design with cloud-native microservices
- Experience with real-time, low-latency front-end web applications (React, Redux, RXJS, Typescript)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and TrueCD/DevOps with Cucumber and Jenkins
- Experience with Playbooks and Vertex AI
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Professional cloud certification on Azure/Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers
Pay range: $66.41 - $74.41 per hour
