Azure Migration Specialist

Job Title : Azure Migration Specialist Location: San Jose, CA Job Type : Long Term Contract (C2C)

Job Description:
We looking to onboard a specialist to migrate Azure environment, Azure DevOps, AzureGit, VM s and Compute from one company to another, by changing the subscription ownership and adjusting authentication, users, permission, networking and security aspect to allow same flow operations before and after the migration.

Needed capabilities: Azure experienced technical admin, with in depth knowledge in azure, capability to use azure migration tools and scripts to automate discovery and execution. Experienced in migrating subscriptions between companies, while keeping all operations in-tact.

Responsibility:

• Evaluate current Azure infrastructure using and plan migration waves.
• Plan and execute needed subscription transfers between Azure AD tenants, including managing the transfer of billing ownership, accounts mapping, creation of new service accounts, permissions, and resources mapping, etc.
• Perform resource group or subscription moves using Azure Portal, PowerShell, or CLI.
• Reconfigure role-based access control (RBAC), custom roles, and Azure policies.
• Migrate network infrastructure, including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and DNS records.
• Verify that all applications, data, and access mechanisms are functional in the target environment.
