Position                                           :          senior data engineer

Location                                          :          100% Remote

Duration                                         :           6 months extendable or perm

Interview                                       :            PV screen then 3 interviews with client (final interview is just a simple conversation with the director)

PV Note: I am the only person working this and we don’t get many 100 percent remote roles so, lets fill this! He said he wants a senior level resource please that is good with streaming pipleines, not development

Must have: programming language in either java, GO, or scala, spark, apache flink, kafka, and AWS and streaming pipelines.

• Core Responsibilities: Setting up streaming pipelines, integrating/patching open-source tools (Flink, Spark, Kafka streams), and understanding their operation in public cloud (Azure, AWS).
• Experience Requirements: 
  • Minimum 11 years overall experience in computer science/programming.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in streaming technologies (Flink, Spark, Kafka).
• Technical Skills: 
  • Streaming pipelines: Flink, Spark, Kafka streams.
  • Open-source tools.
  • Public Cloud: Azure, AWS.
  • Programming Languages (exposure to one or more): Scala, Java, Golang.
