Role Overview
We are looking for a Key iOS Engineer to lead the design and development of mobile applications
In this role, you will take technical ownership of the iOS platform, driving architecture decisions, improving application performance and reliability, and ensuring high engineering standards across the mobile stack. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
You will play a key role in shaping iOS architecture, development practices, and engineering culture, while mentoring engineers and helping solve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
iOS Development
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications
- Implement scalable and maintainable features using modern Swift-based development
- Build and evolve modular iOS architecture supporting long-term maintainability
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs
- Ensure strong focus on user experience, performance, and reliability
Architecture & System Design
- Define and evolve iOS application architecture
- Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns (MVVM / modular architectures)
- Improve application performance, stability, and maintainability
- Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews
- Ensure consistent engineering standards across the mobile platform
Engineering Leadership
- Mentor iOS engineers through technical guidance and code reviews
- Promote clean architecture and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions
- Drive improvements in mobile development processes and tooling
Quality & Reliability
- Improve testing strategies including unit, integration, and UI testing
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Analyze performance issues and drive improvements in app stability
- Maintain high standards for application observability and reliability
Modern Development Practices
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, and testing
- Use AI-powered tools to improve developer productivity and code quality
- Promote modern development workflows including automated testing and CI/CD
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience developing iOS applications at scale
- Expertise in Swift-based iOS development
- Deep understanding of modern iOS architecture patterns (MVVM / modular architecture)
- Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs
- Experience working with UIKit and modern iOS frameworks
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization and debugging
- Experience working with legacy Objective-C codebases
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineers
