CA Workload Automation ESP and CA-7 to IBM Workload Scheduler Migration
Migration of batch workload automation definitions via an iterative process (parallel tracking) to resolve dependencies in migrated application schedules.
Parallel tracking of the batch cycle requires the support of application schedulers to review the migrated schedules and resolve any issues that appear.
If software engineering is submitting workloads, they will also need to participate in parallel tracking for those systems.
The workload scheduler migration is being performed by sysplex, starting with development systems and ending with production systems.
Best practice for the migration is to clean up ahead of the migration.
Training will be provided to application development, application schedulers and operations.
High Impact to application development and application schedulers.
