Summary

Test Automation Engineer

6-12 months contract

We are seeking a Test Automation Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Playwright test automation framework and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure high-quality enterprise application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright framework.
Perform end-to-end testing for applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Module.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
Build and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.
Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with teams for timely resolution.
Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing for enterprise applications.
Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and quality standards.
Contribute to test strategy, automation best practices, and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or Finance Module.
Experience in test automation scripting using languages such as TypeScript / JavaScript / C#.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
Experience in API testing and integration testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with enterprise ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365).
Knowledge of performance or load testing tools is a plus.
Exposure to cloud-based environments (Azure preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
