Description: Our client is currently seeking a DDAP Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager -Harrisburg, PA

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years managing large-scale technical initiatives with diverse project teams across multiple IT domains.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification held for at least 5 years (preferably through PMI Institute).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage high-priority, strategic technology projects with delivery cycles of 8-12 months.
  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle: planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions.
  • Develop detailed Project Management Plans and secure stakeholder approvals.
  • Track progress against schedules and budgets, adjusting as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational PMO standards and methodologies.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks using RAID logs; proactively engage leadership to resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain Communication Plans and Deliverables Matrices to ensure effective stakeholder communication.
  • Provide weekly updates and periodic status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior project managers to strengthen overall project management capabilities.
  • Collaborate across IT areas (Applications, Data Warehouse, Networking, Security, etc.) to ensure successful implementation.
  • Facilitate discussions between IT teams and vendors to align solutions with program needs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate system testing, peer reviews, and training/orientation sessions as required.
  • Deliver presentations and proposals to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related issues.
