Azure DevOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Ankeny, Iowa. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cloud engineering initiatives and streamline development operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub integrations to drive efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:
Oversee Agile workflows, ensuring seamless tracking of bugs, tasks, features, and requirements.
Manage source code and version control using GitHub and related tools.
Automate processes through GitHub Actions to enhance continuous integration and delivery workflows.
Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including multi-stage release pipelines for development, testing, and production environments.
Host and version packages effectively using Azure Artifacts.
Implement and manage integrations within the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud engineering practices.
Provide technical expertise for maintaining secure and compliant systems, especially within government-focused environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DevOps tools and workflows.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps and related technologies.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services.
Expertise in GitHub, including GitHub Actions and Git version control.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and pipeline management.
Familiarity with hosting packages via Azure Artifacts.
Ability to manage integrations within Azure DevOps.
Experience with continuous build, integration, and deployment practices.
Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure Government (Gov Cloud) and its specialized security and compliance features.
