Job Opportunity: SAP CPS (Configuration and Pricing Service) Lead
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP CPS Lead to spearhead the technical architecture, and integration of our SAP Configuration and Pricing Service environment. This is a senior-level role (10+ years) focused on bridging the gap between complex backend logic and seamless frontend customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert capable of managing the entire implementation—from functional designing to the intricate programming of pricing rules and Variant Configuration (VC).
This is a CPS role and not CPQ or a Logistic VC role on ECC.
Prior experience implementing Pricing and Configure services on CPS Required.
Key Responsibilities
Rule Programming: Design and implement complex business rules, pricing procedures, and Variant Configurations (VC) to support multifaceted product catalogs. Implement, configure and pricing services.
· Data Orchestration: Manage seamless data transfers from SAP ECC to CPS using SDI Agent, ensuring data integrity and synchronization.
· System Integration: Lead the end-to-end integration between SAP CPS and SAP Commerce Cloud, ensuring real-time pricing and configuration accuracy for the end-user.
· Optimization: Continuous performance tuning of the pricing engine to handle high-volume transactions and complex configuration logic.
Technical Qualifications
· Domain Expertise: Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in SAP configuration and pricing.
· SAP CPS Mastery: Proven track record in implementing the SAP Configuration and Pricing Service (CPS) in a cloud environment.
· Variant Configuration (VC): Deep technical knowledge of SAP VC, including dependency logic, characteristics, and classes.
· ECC Integration: Expert-level experience with SAP ECC backend structures and the use of SDI Agent for importing master data.
· Commerce Cloud Integration: Direct experience integrating CPS with SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) to drive B2B/B2C storefronts.
· Programming Skills: Ability to write and debug the underlying rules and logic that drive the pricing engine. Ability to create Kyma Services
Preferred Skills
· Strong understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
· Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or integrations.
· Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs.
· Excellent leadership skills and experience mentoring junior developers.
