Process Analyst (Process Mapping/Documentation)

Role Overview:
The Process Communications Analyst supports business process owners by documenting, analyzing, and communicating business processes in a clear, structured, and executive-ready manner. This role centers on translating complex process and operational data into consumable documentation, reports, presentations, and communications that enable effective decision-making and reduce administrative burden on claims leadership.
This position combines process analysis, process documentation, and communication strategy, with a strong emphasis on tailoring messaging for different audiences (executive leadership, stakeholders, and operational teams).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document existing and future-state business processes, primarily supporting the Claims business process owner team
- Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation using Visio and Microsoft Office tools
- Draft clear, concise process documentation for ingestion into the company's governance and documentation systems
- Translate complex data, metrics, and process changes into executive-level communications, presentations, and summaries
- Build and maintain SharePoint and/or Confluence spaces to house process documentation, updates, and reporting artifacts
- Produce monthly reports, dashboards, and status updates to communicate progress, risks, and outcomes
- Support communications related to business process changes, enhancements, and initiatives (e.g., newsletters, announcements, stakeholder updates)
- Assist with PowerPoint development, documentation updates, and administrative support to reduce workload for business process owners
- Pull and analyze data from tools such as Jira, JWM, and other workflow systems to support reporting and insights
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders
- Identify user needs and tailor communication strategies based on audience (executives vs. operational teams)

Required Tools & Technologies
- Visio process mapping and workflow diagrams
- Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) documentation, reporting, and presentations
- SharePoint and/or Confluence content management and knowledge repositories
- Jira / JWM reporting and data extraction
- Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and frameworks
Monthly reporting is needed. This person is communication type of specialist. Build out Sharepoint or Confluence. More to lighten the load or admin impact on each of our business process owners. Person will help w/ building powerpoints, updating sharepoints, JWM experience to pull data. NewsLetters. Will communicateion out on business process things we are doing.
All prefer on-site bur would consider remote. Confluence, Expirian, Jira, Agile
