Lead Project Manager

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager

The role involves delivering multiple strategic efforts across various departments. This position is part of the Project and Portfolio Management organization and reports to the Director - Project and Portfolio Management.

Responsibilities:

• Using hands-on and proactive approaches to ensure project value delivery, including managing milestones, identifying and tracking issues and risks, and driving the team to meet project goals.
• Creating visibility into project activities and milestones while following an agile and iterative software development process.
• Partnering with other digital delivery groups to align ongoing efforts.
• Contributing to solution definition and removing roadblocks.
• Attaining full knowledge of the functional area and helping project teams focus on achieving desired business outcomes.
• Surfacing challenges that require cross-team coordination or leadership intervention before impacting scope, cost, or timeline.
• Establishing a good cadence for external communication, including conducting effective meetings for the given audience by managing the agenda, running the meeting, and communicating/tracking follow-ups.
• Establishing strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
• Helping the team identify development opportunities and challenging them to improve performance actively.
• Managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor teams; coordinating vendor selection and contracting.
• Ensuring alignment of project objectives with the overall IT strategy and roadmap.
• Ensuring project or framework-specific governance is implemented.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience.
• 10 years of managing initiatives in information technology, specifically in infrastructure, networking, and operations area.
• Proven experience in delivering infrastructure and networking projects.
• Must have experience in applying project management frameworks best suited to the project''s needs to deliver value.
• Must have strong experience in managing large, complex projects.
• Training and certifications in traditional project management and/or agile methodologies are preferred.

Required Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of IT standards, policies, and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Networking and Infrastructure project components.
• Advanced knowledge of Tools for Managing and Reporting team progress.
• Proficient working with technology platforms.
• Strong Decision Making, Collaboration, conflict management, facilitation, and delegation skills.
• Excellent experience in dealing with C-level executives.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
• Ability to drive deliverables through completion and hold team members accountable for their work.
• Ability to identify potential risks and provide proactive mitigations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Data Lake / Data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Basic understanding of the Manufacturing industry and applications.
• Positive can-do attitude, solutions-oriented, and willingness to extend beyond day-to-day project manager responsibilities.
