Summary

Join our Wireless Bluetooth Software Engineering team and drive innovation that matters! We craft and seamlessly integrate technologies that enrich people's daily lives such as Audio, Car Experience, HID/Gaming and more. Our team is at the heart of how hundreds of millions of people connect wirelessly every day - from the moment they tap their AirPods to their ears, glide an Apple Pencil across an iPad, or seamlessly hand off a phone call to their vehicle. We build the software that makes these experiences feel magical, instant, and effortless.

Description

We are seeking a self-motivated Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain next-generation personal connectivity solutions that power seamless experiences across Apple's product ecosystem. In this role, you will architect and scale core wireless protocols, driving deep technical contributions across the full Bluetooth stack-from HCI and L2CAP to OS-level frameworks. Your focus will span optimizing high-fidelity audio pipelines for AirPods, Beats, and hearing devices (LE Audio, A2DP, HFP), building robust automotive connectivity with OEM partners, and engineering ultra-low-latency links for Apple Pencil and unannounced hardware. Partnering closely with hardware, firmware, and quality teams, you will tackle complex system challenges in power efficiency, link reliability, and Wi-Fi coexistence to deliver polished, world-class wireless experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with wireless communication systems (especially Bluetooth) is highly desirable

Experience in building user level applications, audio, or AR/VR solutions is a plus

Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an OS/RTOS environment

Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while authoritatively driving multiple projects across many teams

Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways
