Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fit‑gap analysis to evaluate manufacturing requirements against Opcenter standard capabilities.
  • Design end‑to‑end MES solutions that support manufacturing operations, traceability, quality, and compliance.
  • Develop solution blueprints, system architectures, data models, and technical design documentation.
  • Ensure solutions align with ISA‑95 principles and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Design and build Opcenter customizations including services, rules, events, extensions, and UI components.
  • Architect and implement integrations between Opcenter and ERP (e.g., SAP), PLM, SCADA, automation, historians, and other enterprise systems.
  • Design and develop interfaces using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, messaging frameworks, or Opcenter Integration Frameworks.
  • Ensure data integrity, reliability, performance, and traceability across integrated systems.
  • Support MES deployment activities including configuration, technical testing, validation, and release readiness.
  • Develop and execute technical test scripts and support GxP documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience working with Siemens Opcenter / Camstar MES solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience designing and implementing MES customizations and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of MES architecture, manufacturing systems, and shop‑floor operations.
  • Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, web services).
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Opcenter Execution (Discrete, Process, or Medical/Pharma).
  • Experience working in regulated or validated environments (GxP, FDA, ISO).
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
  • Knowledge of CN MOM / CIO, Solution Configuration / Build with Designer / Portal Studio
  • Exposure to ITIL processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
