Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled AV / Desktop Support Technician to support end-user technology and audiovisual systems in a Windows-based environment. This role focuses on providing hands-on desktop support while also managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV equipment, including Logitech conferencing solutions and ViewSonic displays. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically capable, and comfortable supporting both individual users and conference room technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide desktop support for Windows workstations, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users.
- Support and maintain audiovisual systems, including video conferencing rooms and presentation spaces.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Logitech conferencing equipment (cameras, microphones, meeting room solutions).
- Support and maintain ViewSonic displays, monitors, and presentation hardware.
- Assist with conference room setups, including displays, audio, cameras, and cabling.
- Support Microsoft applications and tools commonly used in meeting environments (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Perform equipment installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMACs).
- Track, document, and resolve incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
- Provide on-site and remote support as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to ensure AV systems are operational and standards-compliant.
- Maintain AV and desktop support documentation and inventory records.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 2-4+ years of experience in Desktop Support or End-User Support roles.
- Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems in a corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience with AV equipment, including conferencing and presentation systems.
- Familiarity with Logitech video conferencing solutions and ViewSonic displays.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
- Experience supporting conference rooms, meeting technologies, and user presentations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to support users at varying technical levels.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL-based support workflows.
- Exposure to inventory management or asset tracking.
- Experience supporting hybrid or executive conference room environments.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
